AKCP Dry Contact Cable (DCSxx)

An optional feature of the sensorProbe2DC is the ability to have up to 5 dry contact inputs per RJ45. This gives a total maximum possible inputs of 10 per sensorProbe2DC by utilizing both of the RJ45 sensor ports.

These dry-contact ports can be used to monitor any dry-contact inputs, just like the normal autosense dry-contact ports, but, these ports can only be set to operate in the input mode.These additional sensors are labeled as ports 3 to 12.

The single port RJ-45 Dry Contact Sensor with an ALARM/NORMAL indication in the software.
Can have up two on a sensorProbe2, eight on a sensorProbe8 and 600 Dry Contact Sensors on a secuirtyProbe unit.

Dry contact sensors are user denable and can be used to detect many dierent inputs such as UPS status, security systems, air conditioning status.

SNMP interface for alarm/normal status.
SNMP traps can be sent when the sensor is in a critical state.

SNMP polling is possible via SNMPget. Web browser interface is available.
When an alarm condition is activated the description and location of the fault can be sent via an email or SNMP trap.
